Bethany Wyn-Jones

Piano/ Singing/ Music Theory

Bethany's musical journey began at the age of 4 when she first started taking piano lessons. Coming from a very musical family and being brought up in rural North Wales, where music is a large part of the culture, Bethany was encouraged to compete in many local competitions as a pianist. A few years later she has also discovered a love of singing and began taking classical vocal lessons thorough secondary school where she went on to compete in singing competitions, both in a classical style and in a musical theatre style.

Bethany had decided that she wanted to pursue a career in music and had found a love for composition as well as performing, therefore she moved to Bath to study Music where ended up completing a 4-year course with a Distinction in a Master's degree in Music. During her studies, Bethany built up a wealth of performing experience both as a soloist and in group settings and she also became highly interested in music production.

Following on from her graduation, Bethany began teaching piano, singing and music theory as she found it allowed an element of flexibility to continue performing. She fell in love with teaching and having had many music teachers along the way who shaped her career, she decided this is the professional path shewould like to follow.

Bethany is now an experienced and passionate tutor who offers piano & vocal lessons in the Bristol & Bath area and is successfully preparing her pupils for ABRSM/RSL exams and performances.
