Batuhan was born in 1989 Bursa, Turkey.

He began learning bassoon, piano and music theory whilst studying in Ilker Kıroğlu's class at Uludağ University State Conservatory.

In 2004 Batuhan has joined Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uludağ University under leadership of conductor Koral Çalgan. In 2009 he was transferred to study in Erika Farkas’ bassoon class at Anadolu University State Conservatory in Eskişehir/TR.

Batuhan spent the next year studying at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam, during this time he has had a pleasure of working with Royal Concertgebouw Orkest's bassoonist Jos de Lange. meanwhile in The Netherlands he has also played with orchestras such as; Philharmonia Amsterdam, Orkest aan de Amstel and Dutch National Opera Academy in Den Haag.

In 2012 Batuhan have become a member of Bursa State Symphony Orchestra (bassoon).

In 2013 he has graduated from Anadolu university State Conservatory and shortly after he began studies of pedagogical formation at the R.T. Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts Faculty. Batuhan has also played in various orchestras such as Youth Orchestra of Anadolu University in Eskişehir and Notre Dame de Sion in Istanbul.

Batuhan has been teaching both instruments piano and bassoon privately whilst pursuing his professional career with Bursa State Symphony Orchestra further.

Between September 2016 - July 2017 Batuhan has worked in a number of Private Nilufer Foundation Schools as Music teacher across KS1 and KS2 (tutoring in english).

Batuhan has moved to London in 2017 and continued teaching piano across all age groups, focusing on ABRSM syllabus for piano and bassoon grades 1-8  as well as ABRSM music theory.

Same year he has taken on a music teacher role at an outstanding Catholic primary school in Uxbridge, working with all age groups from reception to KS2. His responsibility was to provide regular music class lessons as well as one to one piano lessons for ABRSM&Trinity in the school.

Batuhan is a great experienced tutor, whos pupils have been performing very well at exams and concerts. His teaching style is very kind, patient and encouraging.

Currently the specialist is teaching music across a number primary schools around London, as well as providing individual face to face instrumental and theory lessons.
