Please note, longer lessons than an hour will be charged based on hourly rate listed above.
First Lesson Policy (Trial)
CSOMAA will not be charging for the first (trial) lesson if the Student/Parent/Legal Guardian decides not to go ahead for further lessons. However, if the Learning Agreement is signed and both Student/Parent/Legal Guardian and CSOMAA are willing to proceed with lessons, it will be charged for accordingly and included in the first invoice sent to Student/Parent/Legal Guardian.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Any lessons cancelled by the Student (or the Student’s Parent or Legal Guardian) with less than 5 hours’ notice, will result in the amount of one pre-paid lesson being forfeited.
Any lessons cancelled by the Student (or the Student’s Parent or Legal Guardian) with less than 48 to 5 hours’ notice, will result in the amount of one pre-paid lesson being forfeited, unless the CSOMAA decides otherwise because of exceptional circumstances (for example: sudden hospitalisation; bereavement news; Coronavirus illness and or in need of isolation).
Whether the lesson is cancelled with more or less than 48 hours’ notice period, occasionally rescheduling is possible, but this is down to the Private Tutor's discretion and availability. There will be no rescheduling considered, if the lesson is cancelled whilst the Private Tutor is on his/her way or has already arrived at the lesson’s address.
If the Private Tutor is obliged to cancel a lesson, the lesson will be rearranged for a time that is mutually convenient for both Student and Private Tutor.
If the Student (or the Student’s Parent or Legal Guardian) decides to shorten an already arranged lesson length they must provide at least 48 hours’ notice, otherwise the full amount for the original lesson’s length arranged will be charged.
