Joe Bazalgette
 
Flute/Saxophone/Music Theory

Joe Bazalgette is a saxophonist, flautist, composer and improviser from London. Since starting playing the flute at the age of 6, Joe has developed a unique artistic voice as an improviser and composer with influences from a array of different musics. As a Jazz Musician, Joe can be heard frequently around London playing In venues such as Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Live and The 606.

 

With his own projects Joe attempts to tie in his influences from other genres such as 20th Century Classical Composers and Musics of the African Diaspora. He has performed with his Quintet and Trio around the Country at Venues such as KOKO, Earth Hackney and Map Studio Cafe.

 

Joe has also performed and recorded with acts such as the Afro-Beat band Kedu, Folk Rock band Running standard and Hip-Hop duo Sonic Daze.

Joe's pupils range from 6 years of age to adults and he teaches all levels of Saxophone, Flute and Music Theory, ABRSM syllabus.
