Tugce Bolulu

Percussion/Piano/Music Theory

Tugce was born in 1989 in Bursa. She started to learn percussion and piano with M.Kocaili in 2001 at Uludağ University State Conservatory.

In 2002, she attended the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Uludağ University State Conservatory with conductor Prof.K.Calgan. performing at famous concert venues such as: Aspendos Theatre, Fethiye Cultural Center Bursa Merinos Concert and Cultural Center.


During 2005- 2015, Tugce started to play with the Bursa State Symphony Orchestra as a classical percussionist. 

In 2005, she was accepted the International Youth Symphony Orchestra with conductor Cem Mansur.
 

From 2007-2012, Tugce has been a member of the Turkey Youth Philharmonic Orchestra as a percussion artist and performed at world famous concert venues such as: Uludag, Bodrum/Yalikavak, Miletus Meandros Festival, Bursa Merinos Cultural Center, the Ataturk Cultural Center in Istanbul, Berlin Young Euro Festival at the Konzerthaus Berlin, Kassel, Dortmund Konzerthaus, the Vienna Konzerthaus, Sala Santa Cecilia, Rome, Linz Brucknerfest’, Beethovenfest' Bonn, Essen Philharmonic Konzerthaus.

In 2010, Tugce studied at Torino Conservatorio Statale di Musica Giuseppe in Italy.
The same year, she played for Turkey and Germany’s friendship concert in Berlin Konzerthaus with Conductor Cem Mansur .

 

In 2011, Tugce graduated from Uludağ University State Conservatory – Class of Percussion, which led to her becoming  a head of the Percussion Department in Uludag University.

 

She attended master classes at the Universitat der Künste in Berlin, Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf and joined the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen .


Tugce performed with orchestras such as: Anadolu University Symphony Orchestra, Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra, Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra .
She is currently a member of Bursa State Symphony Orchestra (Classical Percussionist).

Since 2015 Tugce has been teaching the ABRSM Curriculum in grades 1-8 piano, percussion and music theory, across Primary and Private Music Schools in London.
